Sorry if my comment a couple months ago came off as optional advice - this is not just good practice but one of the consensus norms of the OpenStreetMap community

Hi,
Although there are limitations on mapping private information (indoor features of private residences, names of property owners, etc), mapping private roads is allowed and it's encouraged to add `access=private` to these so that routers don't route through here and users are aware that they don't have access to these roads. Intentionally removing features existing in the real world is considered vandalism, see:
osm.wiki/Vandalism

I've reverted this and one other of your changesets because of this.

Hi,
I appreciate you adding these road names, but note that you shouldn't abbreviate them. (See osm.wiki/Names#Abbreviation_.28don.27t_do_it.29). For example, for osm.org/way/966120083, it should be `57th Street Court East` instead of `57th St Ct E`. Please consider expanding the abbreviations added to this changeset before you continue mapping.

Thanks,
archpdx

Hi,
It looks like you created a duplicate gate in this changeset. I've removed this. Also, most keys, with the exception of the few (description, note, fixme) only allow certain values. "One way only-out of field" is not a valid value for the foot key, see osm.wiki/Key:foot

Hi again,
The same thing applies here: fix the dragged node and use a gate node instead of the name

112890117 almost 4 years ago

Hi Maggie,
It looks like you accidentally dragged a node in the 'through a one way gate' path. Based on your changeset comment it seems like this connects to a field, but this path seems to connect to a construction site.

Also, it's discouraged to use names to describe a feature instead of adding other tags (See osm.wiki/Names#Names_are_not_for_descriptions). Please consider removing the name and replacing it with a barrier=gate node with oneway=yes.

Thanks,
archpdx

This changeset was reverted due to it adding a duplicate building and dragging a node. In the future, please make sure that the building you add doesn't already exist and that you didn't drag any nodes before uploading. On OSM, we align buildings to the building outlines as seen in the imagery. Please consider zooming in more when mapping buildings and using the handy squaring tool ("q" hotkey) when selecting the building.

Why did you place a Big 5 POI in the middle of this parking lot?

112471446 almost 4 years ago

Hi and welcome to OpenStreetMap! I appreciate you adding missing houses in this area. The building outline should match the imagery. Can you redo these? Also, you can square the building by just selecting the outline then just type a "q"

Hi,
Again, please don't abbreviate street names in addresses - this includes suffixes like hwy. See osm.wiki/Names#Abbreviation_.28don.27t_do_it.29

112459262 almost 4 years ago

Hi,
Based on their website it looks like their address is 57195 Beaver Drive
Sunriver, OR 97707, which is what it was before it was modified in this changeset. In this case, it would make more sense to just add "D" to the unit field as Two Country Mall can be seen from the building name.

Hi,
Again, p;lease don't abbreviate street names in addresses, including cardinal direction prefixes. See:
osm.wiki/Names#Abbreviation_.28don.27t_do_it.29

Hi,
It's preferred to use noname=yes instead of name=N/A for unnamed streets.

Hi,
Is South Arterial the signed street name? If this road doesn't have a name yet, you can add noname=yes to this road: osm.wiki/Tag:noname=yes

Hi,
As another mapper mentioned a few years ago, please use the squaring tool when adding buildings. It also looks like you removed some residential areas, which is fine, but these had housenumbers that could have been moved over to the buildings you added.

Hi,
It looks like this changeset replaced the name for Wightman and Walker with addr:street along with other address tags. This was probably a mistake - I've fixed this

Hi,
Thanks for adding this ATM! Make sure in the future to offset imagery when not using Bing in this area - almost everything mapped in the Portland area is aligned to this imagery. You can offset imagery by scrolling down in the Background Settings panel.

This should really be an ATM point rather than a bank building as it doesn't have any other services. It's also discouraged to include advertising messages in the description field as it just adds spam to the map. See: osm.wiki/Key:description
