Thanks for sharing this, it was really interesting to see how you combined all these tools. I wonder how this data will be kept up to date over the years, but anyway, pretty awesome!

um welchen User / welche Changesets geht es denn konkret? Mit dem Reverter Plugin für JOSM kann man das beanstandete Changeset rückgängig machen. Es ist auch möglich nur einen Teil der Änderung zurück zu setzen: Changeset laden, Objekte auswählen, dann Datei > Auswahl hochladen.

Kommunikation ist immer das wichtigste, vielleicht hat der User deine Nachricht noch nicht gelesen?

Das ist auch gut so, "Schnell mal die Daten rein schießen"-Mentalität ist auf keinen Fall gewünscht und führt oft zu langfristigen negativen Effekten. Insbesondere sollte man nicht den Anspruch stellen, dass andere später die Fehler und Doppelungen beseitigen.

Massenimporte erfordern Kommunikation mit der Community, Erfahrung und Fingerspitzengefühl. Wenn sie sorgfältig geplant und ausgeführt werden, sind können sie natürlich eine Bereicherung sein. Siehe auch osm.wiki/Import/Guidelines.

Found no ticket with this topic on http://josm.openstreetmap.de. Report it there, if you want to make JOSM better. Just grumbling, doesn't really help anyone...

Sorry, I don't understand your comment completely. We are not giving professional support, like you would expect from a commercial company. It's a very small team that cares for development, releases, bug fixes and everything else, so don't be too hard on us...

Can you link the bug report(s)?

If you get "this is a program bug, report it!" you cannot expect JOSM to work properly afterwards. It would be nice if you could to follow that link and report the bug (can be done anonymously).

I noticed some oddities as well, e.g. castle_walls layer is duplicated.

Im allgemeinen ist es besser, solche großflächigen Edits vorher anzukündigen, damit andere noch Kommentare geben und gegebenenfalls protestieren können.

If you are relatively new to openstreetmap it is best not to try a massive bulk upload on your own. A lot of things can go wrong...

I'm sure your data is very valuable for this project! Best would be to write to the talk mailing list or post on the forum! Please give some details on what region your data covers and maybe give a sample.

If the region has already good coverage in osm, some manual work is required, because we don't like to have duplicate POIs in the database.

In the end it might be a good solution to convert your data to the osm format (so it can be opened, checked and uploaded with JOSM), to split it in small digestible chunks and to keep it downloadable somewhere, so all users can work on it.

If this is too much work for you, I'm sure others are glad to help out.
