Removing others entries from the database | Many of these people may not have agreed to the license terms probably because they stopped using OSM, haven't noticed that there's new license terms, or haven't had time to read them. Don't just delete the roads they surveyed for that reason. Also, even conventional GPS's aren't 100% accurate; they can have a margin of error of up to several yards. |

Removing others entries from the database | Why are you doing this? |
Bonifacio Global City | I'm with you on that! OSM is definitely more "colorful" than other maps. |
Dirty TIGER in PA, MD | Boy, I hate how bad the TIGER data is!! It's also super old, too. |
House Numbers | @marscot and wilpin:
House Numbers | Use the tag addr:housenumber=* to add the address, and the tag addr:street=* to tell it what street it's on. Add these tags to a node where the house is located. You can add tags telling it the city and state if you want, but it's not essential as it can figure those out itself. Hope this helps you. |
2 pages of edits | Wow! I didn't know you could designate a building specifically for its use. I'm going to tag some houses I added as building=house instead of just building=yes. |
But they won't map as well as me! | Why don't you want anyone else to map in your area? I love seeing other mappers in my city. If they're mapping stuff in a way I don't like (or making mistakes), I contact them and try to resolve this issue. |

| Me too! |

first edit | It's great to see another user in the Puget sound area! Keep up the good work. Also, I noticed you were using Potlatch 1.4, which sucks. THere is a newer version called potlatch2 which is way better and is easier for new users like you to get a hang of. To use Potlatch 2 move the mouse over the edit tab (don't click on it), then in the menu that appears, select "Edit with Potlatch 2." By going to your user settings, you can make that your default editor if you like P2 (potlatch 2). |
Oooh, fancy new Potlatch 2 and Bing imagery! | You can set Potlatch 2 as your default in your user settings, btw. |

A copy of my reply posted on the MOBAC Project site: | What is MOBAC, anyway? |
What if the OpenStreetMap.org mapview had it's own feedback button? | I agree with your suggestions. This would be the best thing ever for OSM, definitely! |

Seattle mapping | Welcome to OpenStreetMap (OSM)! It's great to see new users in Seattle. |

Waterloo Ring Road Sheared. Is this a glitch? | @alexz,

first | Looking at your edits, I noticed you've been editing with Potlatch 1.4, but there's a newer version of Potlatch (Potlatch 2) that's way easier to use and learn. It's also faster and has less bugs/glitches than Potlatch 1. To use it, move your mouse over the edit button (don't click on it) and a menu will appear. On that menu, select "Edit with Potlatch 2 (in-browser editor)." You can set P2 as your default editor when you click the edit button in your user preferences. |

first | It may seem complicated at first, but soon you'll get used to it and it'll be simple. It's like learning how to ride a bike, if you know what I mean. You should maybe take a look at the links suggested by "chillly," maybe that will help. |

Waterloo Ring Road Sheared. Is this a glitch? | Just noticed another path that had gotten moved near there and I fixed it. Seems like some new user accidentally dragged these ways w/o realizing it. |
Waterloo Ring Road Sheared. Is this a glitch? | Just looked at it in Potlatch and it turns out that it actually WAS translated to the southeast. Anyway, I fixed it and soon it will look fine (once the map updates). |
