Ik heb het andere mappers gevraagd op Discord, en ze taggen amenity=post_office alleen als het past bij de situatie, dus op
- DHL CityHubs, omdat die meestal wel redelijk op een postkantoor lijken; en
- PostNL postkantoren (deze staan ook op hun locatiezoeker in het blauw aangegeven)

Normale DHL ServicePoints hebben vaak maar een paar services van wat een normaal postkantoor heeft.

Het apart intekenen valt te begrijpen, "postkantoor" is nogal een breed begrip (en meerdere POIs in een gebouw zijn normaal apart, al moet er soms wel bij gezegd worden dat ze zich indoor bevinden, waardoor ze niet renderen); het huidige advies op de wiki en van andere mappers maakt dat dit als taggen voor de renderer gezien zou kunnen worden -dit slechts informatief bedoeld, niet als belediging-. Als je ze wilt zien op een kaart kan je er zelf een maken (met bv. uMap of MapComplete), of die van een van de andere mappers gebruiken.

Note(/fixme etc. tag)s are not for rendering issues. Your remarks are neither actionable for mappers nor directly useful, as another map style may render tags which the standard map style does not, and this changes constantly.

You have also retagged features only to have them rendered. Please see

This will not speed up rendering of said tag, and you may be adding incorrect or redundant tags to the object. This is considered as vandalism, and as you mentioned you are doing this while you are aware of this fact, it will likely be considered as done on purpose, especially if continued.

Contact the DWG to remove all (parts of) notes which make remarks on rendering, as well as revert all changes -where needed- which tag for the renderer.

- discuss with the (local) community; where it concerns large changes do this in advance of making changes.

Als je zelf al deze foto's hebt genomen, vermeldt het er dan alsjeblieft bij. Al behoudt de eigenaar van de content de rechten op hun content -dus ook voor gebruik in OpenStreetMap-, zonder expliciete vermelding van de bron (de auteur), kunnen andere mappers het idee krijgen dat deze bron (de website) te gebruiken is voor OpenStreetMap. Dit is echter niet zo lijkt mij, voor zover ik dit heb bekeken is content buiten de eigenaar om onderhevig aan auteursrechten (copyright).

Overigens zou het handig zijn als deze foto's geupload zijn op een website die per definitie het gebruik in OpenStreetMap toelaat, zoals Mapillary, KartaView (was: OpenStreetCam) of Wikimedia Commons (hier moet de licentie wel zelf aangegeven worden).

Across several changesets, you have introduced numerous redundant and/or unfinished empty ways. This may be considered poor mapping if continued.

@mueschel seems like a simple typo to me (user unknowing how to tag multiple values), it's multiple values of traffic_sign. Looking at Wikipedia, these are 'valid'(be it now renamed) values for traffic signs:
- 231 / B5: "Give way." = Yield sign
- 863 / H23 "Two-way cycle path."
And, used in the right place, namely a bicycle crossing (only difference being a traffic island between the two flows of bicycle traffic).

Of course, the yield sign may apply to the cycleway and the traffic signs could be seperated and direction, support tag added to indicate they're facing different ways.

This user had been inactive for more than a year since you asked. You could check if their other edits look ok, but otherwise it may be better to try fixing such an issue yourself where you can.

"books"="secondhand"

Remove redundant tag "books"="secondhand" -and change the "second_hand" tag yourself if needed- if you know this for sure from your survey.
