28987829 | over 10 years ago | Can you prove that? If so, we can complain to them about it. |
28988250 | over 10 years ago | I need to step in here and say that while I'm glad that the tempers have been calmed, that trolling and name calling are really inappropriate behavior, on everyone's part. Please try to keep the comments relevant and reduce the pointing and name calling to a minimum. |
28987829 | over 10 years ago | I realize you're new, but I need to tell you that Google Street View is explicitly not allowed to be used as a source for data. It's against their terms and license. Fortunately there's a project that's similar to Google Street View called Mapillary that allows us to use their data in this way, and you can even make your own street view data from it and use that. |
28990165 | over 10 years ago | Gerald, I was asked to intervene on this on behalf of the DWG, and I have read many of the changeset comments. At the same time, regarding *your* change- this is not a fence. |
28990165 | over 10 years ago | Gerald, the problem is it's not a fence, so just reverting isn't the right thing to do. |
28993394 | over 10 years ago | This is the same issue as before. If you're fixing broken relations- that's great, but please explain that. If you're modifying the boundaries to make them correct, please explain that. |
28987829 | over 10 years ago | Hi, Wecome to OSM. You're making a ton of edits to OSM. What's the source of all these stores? |
28990165 | over 10 years ago | I said that you're removing the tags- which is exactly what you said you're doing. If you want to look at the indoor mapping pages, you might find something that works for you:
I have no idea what that stadium has internally, but if they're walls, why not call them walls? Or were you indicating the lines on the roof? |
28990165 | over 10 years ago | I see two issues here: First, you are removing the tags on the ways, rather than replacing them with something else. Secondly, you are not using changeset comments. Please use changset comments on your changesets: |
28957757 | over 10 years ago | You're making a lot of edits with a source of "inspiration"- is that your only source? |
28949457 | over 10 years ago | This is a pretty huge changeset- with hundreds of objects. Can you say a bit more about what you were doing? |
28910924 | over 10 years ago | Congrats on your first edit to OSM! Looks great! |
28890897 | over 10 years ago | Congratulations on your first edits to OSM! |
28895820 | over 10 years ago | Eurgene, You're making huge numbers of massive changes. Please make meaningful changeset comments on these changes so that others can follow what you're doing. |
28833482 | over 10 years ago | peace2, You keep making these large changesets with very obscure changeset comments? Can you please try to make more descriptive comments of what you're changing and why? |
28865471 | over 10 years ago | This changeset has dozens of edits over a petty large area. Could you please use changeset comments to explain what you're changing? |
28861610 | over 10 years ago | Was this mechanical edit discussed with the community? If so, please let me know. If not, I will revert it in the next 24 hours. |
28834520 | over 10 years ago | It looks like you're trying to fix the NJ landuse import. Do you have any thoughts on just removing the entire thing (other than where folks like you or I have edited it?) |
28833482 | over 10 years ago | What redundant tags? You seem to be working off a very large number of features here. |
28694282 | over 10 years ago | Jeff, No problem. I've gone ahead and reverted this changeset, though it looks like others have already fixed most of the problems (ie the US/Mexico border). One thing would be great though, which is in your changeset descriptions for you to be more descriptive about what you're changing, because right now they all say "Adding Pease Golf Course Objects". |
