Hi Ahmed Alazzani,

Welcome to OpenStreetMap! The restaurant that you have added doesn't seem to be present. There is no building in the satellite imagery near that node and i'm unable to find this restaurant online. Can you please verify if this restaurant exists?

Thank you!

Hi Element28,

Welcome to OpenStreetMap! I came across your edit, thank you for your contribution to OSM.

While adding names to companies, Points of Interests, etc we should be adding just their names, we need not add suffixes like [among others] until it exits in real. I have removed this (osm.org/changeset/46918816) as of now. Let me know if you have questions.

Happy Mapping :)

Hi Maradona11,

The information that you added as node in this changeset (Macdonaltown) seems to be already mapped (checkout the building nearby). Ideally we should avoid adding redundant information to OSM. It'll be great if you can resolve this by adding the missing information to that building and deleting the node.

Found similar edits in the following changesets: -osm.org/changeset/46860607 ; osm.org/changeset/46860623

Let me know if you have questions, thank you and happy mapping!

Hi M_chekhaw,

Welcome to OpenStreetMap, thank you for your contribution. Just came across your edit, where you have added name: home Ahmed Chekhaw which is not ideal. We do not add information that is not true to the ground. Please refer http://learnosm.org/en/ for more information related to OpenStreetMap. If you have any questions feel free to ask me.

Hi Shubham,
Welcome to OpenStreetMap! Thank you for your contribution. I have observed that your changeset has some untagged roads and also a lake, which I think does not exist anywhere near race-course road. I am reverting this changeset. Please let me know if you have any questions on how to add data to OpenStreetMap, I would be more than happy to help you : ) . You could also go through -> http://learnosm.org/en/beginner/ and learn more about OpenStreetMap and how you can contribute.

Hi RobbyB99,

Your mapping contributions are greatly appreciated. You have mentioned Google as the source. Can you please clarify in what context have you used Google?
You should not be using Google as a source of information for addition of any data on OSM. Look in here for more information - osm.wiki/FAQ#Why_don.27t_you_just_use_Google_Maps.2Fwhoever_for_your_data.3F

I tried looking into the data, as to what I understand that Lake Winnipesaukee is a complete polygon, but there is some confusion regarding Meredith Bay and Braun Bay, are these different from Lake Winnipesaukee or they are a part of Lake Winnipesaukee. These bays seem to have a broken polygon and thus the lake is not rendered properly.

Hi pokey,

The multipolygon (lake Winniepesauke) is broken, thus it is not rendering the lake on OpenStreetMap. It looks like you have modified the relations last. Can you please take a look into it and fix it?

The changes I have made is not in accordance to my changeset comment. I have moved the tags from the way to the multipolygon and retagged the pond from natural=bay to natural=pond (Please refer to this ticket for more information -> https://josm.openstreetmap.de/ticket/13270#comment:2)

The changes I have made is not in accordance to my changeset comment. I have separated the connected roads based on the imagery. ( https://josm.openstreetmap.de/ticket/13270#ticket)

Hi Majid Khan Munjai,

I came across your edits, it seems like you have been adding `tourism=artwork` tag to restaurants, stations. This tag should not be used along with these tags. It'll be great if you can re-look into your edits and correct them. You can find more information regarding the tag here - osm.wiki/Tag:tourism%3Dartwork .

Thanks,

Hi Srikanth07,

I just came across this changeset and few more where you have being deleting the buildings.
- The satellite imagery of this region is really good
- The buildings traced were also of good quality
- If there are issues regarding the data, they can always be modified. It is a good practice in OSM to retain the history of data. Deleting is not a good practice.

Can you give me a context as to why the buildings in this area are deleted?

Thanks,

I see that the Bing imagery is of good quality in this area. Here is the link to the screenshot taken in JOSM (https://cloud.githubusercontent.com/assets/4470913/14451960/c237d2b6-00a8-11e6-883a-6314194d29f2.png). Also it's not advisable to use Google maps to add any information on OpenStreetMap.
