You need to extend this file:
https://github.com/systemed/potlatch2/blob/master/l10n/locale/fr_FR/p2_main.properties
So that is as long as these examples for English and German:
https://github.com/systemed/potlatch2/blob/master/l10n/locale/en_GB/p2_main.properties
https://github.com/systemed/potlatch2/blob/master/l10n/locale/de_DE/p2_main.properties

Also, "traduire" is "translate" in english, not "traduce"
