149153496 | over 1 year ago | Hi, I see you simplified the Casey Creek way. In my opinion it didn't seem especially over-noded before and now looks kind of angular and ugly. But regardless, the result is a number of self-intersections in the updated way. Can you take a look and fix this? Thanks. 149111740 | over 1 year ago | I see you wrote on the wiki page this is "determined by consensus" to be quasi-national. What consensus was this? |
147912505 | over 1 year ago | Hi, thanks for your interest in adding data to OpenStreetMap! It appears you may be importing Anoka County parcel data. If so, please review the Imports webpage on the OSM wiki before continuing (osm.wiki/Import) This process is meant to ensure the effort you put in is worthwhile for everyone. For example, I'm noticing you're including some non-OSM tags from the source data, and probably using the improper tag for each feature (see place=plot osm.wiki/Tag:place%3Dplot). The OSM US slack may also be a helpful place to get advice. Happy mapping! |
144196640 | over 1 year ago | Do you have a source for this edit? There's no indication of construction in any imagery and the county property map still shows it as zoned as agricultural. |
147211606 | over 1 year ago | Thanks for adding the wikidata--is there a reason you can't add some other tags (like...name?) at the same time? |
146635802 | over 1 year ago | Hi, I noticed you added a hamlet named "Junction Switch". Do you have some documentation or reference for this name? Because otherwise it looks like a way to get a label on the map for the nearby railroad switch... |
146555859 | over 1 year ago | Thanks for adding this detail to OpenStreetMap! Wanted to let you know, though, that the tags building, building:level, and roof:shape are going to be more useful if put on an area (ie building outline) rather than a point. Happy mapping! |
145888429 | over 1 year ago | Hi, I'm not sure what about your editing style is causing this, but I've noticed a number of times where your edits caused duplicate/overlapping nodes. For example, see OSM Inspector: http://tinyurl.com/mw929x82 Would you be able to take a look at the highlighted areas and fix the issues? Happy mapping! |
138697787 | over 1 year ago | Hi, opening hours generally have both an opening and closing time--if you noticed it could you add? More info on opening hours syntax here: osm.wiki/Key:opening_hours |
141673492 | over 1 year ago | Hi, I'm wondering if this development is completed, under construction, or proposed? The way it's currently tagged makes it look like it's completed but the pdfs make it look like it's planned/proposed. See osm.wiki/Key:proposed if construction hasn't started yet, or osm.wiki/Key:construction if construction has started. |
144988781 | over 1 year ago | Hi, in response to your note, couldn't you just include separate values for "owner" and "operator"? Also, I noticed you tagging "access=yes" on these parks. While that isn't wrong, access is typically only tagged on leisure features when there's a restriction. YMMV though. Happy mapping! |
144879101 | over 1 year ago | Hi, I noticed the construction area you added in this changeset is "glued" to surrounding paths. Wanted to make you aware it's usually recommended to not do this as 1) it's not strictly accurate and 2) also makes future editing more complex. For example, see Ailesbury Park on the other side of Abbeyfield Avenue. Thanks for your consideration and happy mapping! |
144842210 | over 1 year ago | Hi, it would be helpful if you also added appropriate tags for the businesses you are adding. For example, this Holiday gas station would be amenity=fuel. Thanks |
144738278 | over 1 year ago | Welcome to OpenStreetMap! I noticed on these buildings you tagged them both with the same house number--can you check that and update the incorrect one? Also, convention in OSM is to capitalize the street type ("Avenue") so if you could also fix that it'd be great. Happy mapping! |
144608941 | over 1 year ago | It appears this edit is changing the Grand Rounds tagging from rcn (regional) to ncn (national) cycle network. Given the Grand Rounds are fully within Minneapolis, this doesn't make much sense to me and doesn't match the descriptions on osm.wiki/United_States/Bicycle_Networks for either national or quasi-national networks. Some of the Grand Rounds are part of the Mississippi River Trail, which is definitely an ncn, but that's a different relation. Wonder what your rationale is, or if you'd consider changing it back. (side note: looking through the history, it was stevea--who does a ton of bike route tagging on OSM--that changed the tag to rcn in 2019) |
144231218 | over 1 year ago | Hi, and welcome to OpenStreetMap! Thanks for adding more detail to the Carlton Artist Loft buildings. It'd be better, though, for B & C to create a separate area for each of those and have the info (name, levels) be specific to each one. If you are able/willing to do that, it'd be great. Otherwise I might be able to. Would just need to confirm if B is further to the west than C, or vice versa. Happy mapping! |
143898124 | over 1 year ago | I don't know who your local user is, but most locals I know (including me) use "South" on all of the N-S streets in south Minneapolis. |
143678602 | over 1 year ago | Honest question: how does having four separate traffic signals, one facing each way, improve over having one central traffic signal which applies to all ways? |
143699678 | over 1 year ago | Hi, I noticed you've been splitting out individual tennis courts from a larger pitch which covers the whole area. This added detail seems useful! However, that larger area often aligns with the fencing that commonly surrounds the courts. Wonder if you'd consider retagging that outer way (for example barrier=fence, maybe with an entrance point if it's evident) instead of getting rid of it as you do these edits. Happy mapping! |
141353609 | almost 2 years ago | Hi, just wanted to let you know that amenity=fitness_station is a deprecated tag. The correct tag is leisure=fitness_station osm.wiki/Tag%3Aleisure%3Dfitness_station Hope you can adjust these. Happy mapping! |
