47333119 | over 8 years ago | Please don't delete addr:interpolation ways - such as osm.org/way/69273160 - it's not part of the discussed import process |
47093244 | over 8 years ago | hey, the bing imagery isn't very clear in this area (= where I live) so I wouldn't add ways unless it's totally clear |
34638523 | over 8 years ago | These are confusing. I live less than 100 m from this, and I can't work out what the intention of these are. Can you clairfy? Are some of these underground? |
45902495 | over 8 years ago | This import is still pending LWG approval. Please stop, as discussed on talk-ca |
45843129 | over 8 years ago | I don't think we got LWG approval yet, Denis |
44545610 | over 8 years ago | Are your OSM contributions "for the exclusive purposes of teaching or academic research" at Carleton? If not, you can't use the data here, and you've signed something to say you won't when you started your course. Derivative works retain rights too: that's why we can't copy from Google Maps. |
44545610 | over 8 years ago | Sorry, but it doesn't look as if you can use the Carleton data to trace from: https://library.carleton.ca/sites/default/files/find/gis/DataUseAgreement.pdf |
44607803 | over 8 years ago | Hi - welcome to OSM. Thanks for your contribution, but you can't edit according to google earth |
41953625 | over 8 years ago | Thanks for your contributions, and welcome to OpenStreetMap! |
41204103 | over 8 years ago | Thanks for the contributions, and welcome to OpenStreetMap! |
43200001 | over 8 years ago | Thanks for the contributions, and welcome to OpenStreetMap! |
43148360 | over 8 years ago | I've restored the building. Looks like an accidental deletion. Rasheka - welcome to OSM! It's good to know there are other mappers locally. |
34720365 | over 8 years ago | Why are you adding is_in:iso_3166_2 tags on so many of your edits? The whole is_in family is no longer needed, and there is no documentation for your refinement of these obsolete tags |
43447524 | over 8 years ago | nice work, Paul! |
2529746 | almost 9 years ago | Hey, your import made Worst of OSM! http://worstofosm.tumblr.com/post/149386653926/look-at-these-nicely-arranged-nigerian-villages |
42776641 | almost 9 years ago | but it hasn't received the national talk-ca approval or had approval from the main Imports list, as required here: osm.wiki/Import/Guidelines#Step_5_-_Import_Review . Also, it's an import from a non-dedicated account, which is not allowed. |
42633517 | almost 9 years ago | … which doesn't mean you can go ahead before it's written and agreed. |
42788839 | almost 9 years ago | I am following it, closely. There are no docs, no process and no discussion. |
42776641 | almost 9 years ago | Is this a dedicated import account? This looks like a data import. The Stats Canada data import has not yet received community approval |
42788839 | almost 9 years ago | Hi Denis - the StatsCan import has no documentation, data links or community import buy-in. So it can't yet be proceeding, can it? Also, there are address nodes with source=bing, not just buildings. You must use a dedicated account to import data, too. |
