Ik heb echter een vraagje over een paar weggetjes die je hebt verandert van highway=path naar highway=cycleway (Blindeweg tussen Oldehove en Saaksum + toegang Reitdiepveer Schaphalsterzijl; ways 143035692, 239248842, 776295556, 762194827).

Het is zeker waar dat die wegen op G13-fietspaden in de buurt lijken. Er staat echter geen bordje G11, G12a noch G13. Voor de Blindeweg is dat leuk of Mapillary te zien: https://www.mapillary.com/map/im/XVIwMU1bSQ9rUK05uCWPGA en https://www.mapillary.com/map/im/3nrFCraLum7nn6ThA_lFDw

Volgens mij is dit dus geen cycleway maar een path. Ook al is highway=path by default onverhard, dat is met surface=* opgelost.

Het belangrijkste verschil, voor zover ik weet, zit in de toegangsrechten. Volgens osm.wiki/OSM_tags_for_routing/Access_restrictions#Netherlands mogen mofa, moped en horse wel op een path maar niet op een cycleway.

Ik ben geen jurist maar ik zie niet waarom ze niet zouden mogen. Wat denk jij?

Let me explain: I happened upon this area in my Osmose feed after an unrelated edit. It complained about two adjacent ways with similar but inconsistent names ("sentier 5" vs. "Sentier 5" if memory serves; at any rate it was about capitalization). That struck me as an obvious enough mistake to fix remotely / mechanically (lower case is just wrong, isn't it?).

I zoomed out a bit to check if there were similar problems in the area. I found some. Fixed them. Zoomed out some more, found and fixed some more. At some point, I must admit, I crossed the red line without noticing. I got carried away. Sorry, my bad!

I will, of course, restore the previous name tags. It's gonna be somewhat tricky, since I fixed other things along the way (mostly erroneous near-junctions) and I'd rather not undo that. Another lesson learned: keep changesets simple! Please give me the weekend to sort things out.

Allow me to warn you, though, that you're not going to like the status quo ante, either. Most name tags were / will be of the form "[sS]entier #number" (same thing for [cC]hemin). Just a small number had your preferred spelling with "nᵒ" (which I agree, in hindsight, looks more idiomatic; and I definitely believe that your view is backed up by the sources you mention). But I'm happy to see that there's at least one local mapper who feels strongly about this. I gladly leave this to your capable hands. Please let me know if I can be of any help. As fellow mappers, we want the same thing!

I have a question about the service road along the dike, though, way 692629522. You've tagged it as access=private. I biked there the other day (coming in through the open gate at the end of Robbenplaatweg), and I couldn't see any signs forbidding me from cycling there. It does say things like "Eigen weg waterschap Noorderzijlvest", "niet gestrooid", and no access for dogs (I believe). I couldn't see a reason not to bike, so I did go there. All the way to where it dead-ends in a gate, past which there's no access (power plant).

I was going to tag foot=permissive, bicycle=permissive, but then I thought you might know better than I. It was dark when I biked there, I should add.

What do you think?

Petite question sur la voirie "sentier particulier" : est-ce que c'est bien le nom balisé du sentier ? Sinon, ce serait probablement mieux d'éffacer l'attribut "name" et de mettre "access" à la place. access=no ? access=permissive ? access=destination ?

En faisant cela, je suis tombé sur un autre souci : dans la signe 16 (rélations 9682010 et 9682011), il n'y a pas de "duration" mais "interval" de 28:00. Je suppose que ça devrait être duration=00:28 ? Et interval, alors ?

duration=31:00 signifie une durée de 31 heures. Je suppose que ça devrait être 31 minutes, plutôt ? Donc duration=00:31 ?

Two of the highway=tertiaries that you've added in this changeset are linked to one another via a bridge. That bridge, it turns out, is tagged as a path (i.e.: inaccessible to motor vehicles):
