What is ORPA?
It seems a very odd name, it is neither English or Welsh. Does it appear on signs?

If you simply delete the tags associated with Shunt nightclub, leaving the building tags anyone then looking at the history of the building will see the earlier versions and that it once was Shunt nightclub.
The best way to achieve this is to first revert the deletion and then remove the tags. Do you need any help doing this?

Hi
Just wondering if you are local to Telford as you seem to be changing a lot in the area?
It would be helpful to other mappers in the community if you could actually say what you are doing in each changeset comment, 'general updating' is not very helpful.
Thanks Phil

Hi, welcome to OSM.
Please can you explain what is actually here, a node with a name will not do very much unless it is also tagged as a something.
Thanks Phil

Hi, welcome to OSM.
You seem to have added a node for the Premier Inn which duplicates osm.org/way/106485321 which was already mapped.
It could be that you didin't zoom in for enough to see the existing hotel.
It is always better to map hotels as buildings rather than node, particularly in well mapped areas such as London.
Are you able to remove the node, or would you like assistance.
Keep on editing, thanks Phil

Hi
Are you sure that osm.org/way/396566585 and osm.org/way/396567215 are really chalets, it seems a very odd thing to find in Wales. Are you sure they are not guest_houses.

Also what it the source of these edits? I am assuming you aren't a local and you are doing a lot of editing in the area.

Please, and I say it again, use meaningful changeset comments. Wales is a big country, Update Wales does not tell the local community very much.

And please have the decency to answer questions asked by the community, this is the 3rd time I have commented and so far you have net responded.

Hi
Do you have any evidence that these tramlines are still visible on the ground, http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3300987 suggests they aren't.
Please do not copy things that no longer exist from old maps as all that does is spoil the map for other users and in areas such a London add clutter which makes mapping harder for others.
Mapping is far more rewarding if you actually go out and map things you are familiar with than armchair mapping of thing which no longer exist.

Wales is a big place, please can you be more descriptive with your comments and respond to changeset comments amde by the UK community.

Hi, welcome to OSM.

Changes covering such a wide area are frowned upon by the community as it makes it difficult to follow changes made. If mapping different areas please save your work from.one before working on the other.
Thanks Phil

Hi
Just to clarify a little, the building should probably be tagged as tourism=guest_house, name=Hazeldean and the separate node removed.

Please ask if you need any help.

Cheers Phil

Please can you explain your reasons for deleting osm.org/node/240816811/history#map=18/53.38683/-1.47127 which has been on the map for a very long time?
Please also include meaningful changeset comments so that other mappers can understand your changes

My question was how do you know it is FP25? That sort of information is normally only available on the definitive map/highway authority online maps. Both of which are overlayed on OS maps making the information Crown Copyright and hence incompatible with the licencing required for inclusion in OSM.
Also FP25 is not the name of the path, it is a reference, usually put into the tag prow_ref, adding it to the name will cause confusion as it will not be signed on the ground.

Hi, is your business really in the middle of the road? It also appears to be seriously misplaced as it has an address in the USA.
Please use meaningful changeset comments so other mappers can understand what you are trying to do.

Hi
Footpath numbers are not normally signposted on the ground, what is the source of this information?

36804010 over 9 years ago

Bora Da, Croeso y Cymru
I think this osm.org/way/370442245 has gone a liitle wrong. From my knowledge of these things, they were usually quite small and there tend to be lots of them, rather than one single pit. The area you have drawn includes PROW which I am certain would be somewhere else if there was a big hole.
Please could you make your comments more meaningful, so that other mappers can work out what you are doing. Wales is a big place.
Cheers Phil

Bromlow Callow is a rounded hill to the north, with a wood at the top. It is very distinctive and is very well known to Shropshire walkers. The top is too flat to consider it having a summit.
The grid reference in the database is not for the trigpoint.
I do wonder how the database is compiled, grid references and the elevations matching OS do suggest much of it is a derived work from OS data and as such is probably not something we can use in OSM.
As a GPS owner I am very aware that elevation does almost never mach what is shown on an OS map, had the data been derived from surveys.

Hi
You seem to have added a peak named Bromlow Callow.
Applying my local knowledge, and applying my own local knowledge, Bromlow Callow is neither a peak or where you have placed it.
Out of copyright OS maps show a trigpoint (which may or may not still exist) but no elevation and this point is unnamed. What is the source of this information you have used?

Hi, I think something went a little wrong here.
You added cycleway=lane to osm.org/way/124354558
In my recollection, and looking at bing imagery, this is a two lane road with no cycling infrastructure. Did you visit the location?

You should have tagged this with #OSMSchools and got counted on http://harrywood.dev.openstreetmap.org/diffreader/schools/

Hi, welcome to OSM.
Do you have an office, with signs making it verifiable which can be visited by callers? It looks odd as it appears to be a residential area with roads mapped as private.
You have also create a strange relation which links to the US.
In later changes you have added a shop with a value of your website which makes your additions appear to be promoting your website.
