5533501 | about 9 years ago | Dear BMM994, Is there indeed a street called "Ha'Nahash" (the snake) in Nahariyya? |
39518196 | about 9 years ago | Dear Marten, Was there any special reason to split the boundary of the Nahal Dalton Nature Reserve into 2 separate ways? Usually, boundaries do not need to interact with traisl or roads and they can cross one another even without creating a junction. Best regards,

38061318 | about 9 years ago | I've reconsidered comment about restoring the original shape, and I agree with you. The length of the section simplified in this changeset is about 6 meters, and the simplification done in this changeset is appropriate.

I would appreciate if you could review the changes, as I'm not familiar with power lines mapping.

38061318 | over 9 years ago | My intention is only to restore the original shape, at the resolution provided by the authorities. As for the tagging of the relation, I'm using "type=multipolygon" because as far as I understand, type=boundary is applicable only for boundary=administrative and the relation is boundary=protected_area. This understanding is based on

33951114 | over 9 years ago | Hi,
Nature reserves' boundaries are a sensitive issue for hikers, as visitors are required to comply with certain restrictions, and the boundaries are not always clearly marked "on the ground". We therefore want to keep the boundaries according to the approved land plans and Nature Reserve proclamations. See also my post at http://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewtopic.php?id=54543 According to Israeli law, there is also no issue with having military areas and bases in nature reserves. In changeset 39218585 I have restored the original boundaries. Thanks,

38061318 | over 9 years ago | Hi, Thanks for reviewing the boundary and for fixing my tagging error. Nature reserves' boundaries are a sensitive issue for hikers, as visitors are required to comply with certain restrictions, and the boundaries are not always clearly marked "on the ground". We therefore want to keep the boundaries according to the approved land plans and Nature Reserve proclamations. See also my post at http://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewtopic.php?id=54543 If you don't mind, I'd like to restore the original boundary shape. Thanks,

38290374 | over 9 years ago | Nature reserve boundaries are a sensitive issue, and we try to keep them according to the approved land plans and Nature Reserves proclamations. Is the change in the boundary of Caesarea National Park [osm.org/way/395559964] based on any approved land plan (תב"ע)? If so, can you please add its ID to the existing list in the ref tag.

Is the change in the boundary of Har Amiad - “Em HaHita” Nature Reserve [way 358358670](osm.org/way/391782515) based on any approved land plan (תב"ע)? If so, can you please add its ID to the existing list in the ref tag. by the way, there are many military areas in Israeli Nature reserves. A military area does not cancel the designation of an area as a nature reserve. |

If needed, you can cut a way in two and mark just the part that needs to change.

38352403 | over 9 years ago | Hi Denis, Thanks for updating the OpenStreetMap map. A viewpoint is used in mapping of a place for tourists and travelers. It is probably not what you had in mind. The name of the military base can be added to the area: We also separate the names for different languages to different tags:
I don't know if MAPS.ME enables such editing. Please let me know if you need any help, or would prefer that I fix it. Thanks! |
38426190 | over 9 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap editing! I understand the supermarket changed name from Mega BaIr to Victory. In OSM we try to separate names according to the languages. The "name" tag is used for the local language, "name:en" is for the name in English, and "name:he" is for the name in Hebrew. You can see at
Perhaps these are limitations of editing using MAPS.ME. I'd be happy to help you correcct it, or correcct it myself. please let me know |
19748694 | over 9 years ago | Hi, Thanks for adding these two businesses to OSM. It would be useful if you a tag, like (shop){osm.wiki/Key:shop} or (office){osm.wiki/Key:office], to indicate the kind of business they do. Also, the location is not very clear. "שינוי תודעתי"
"The Writing Company" is located outside of the building inits area. Thanks! |
26805141 | over 9 years ago | Hi, Recently, parts of the construction roads were opened for public use. There are some differences between the original plan and the actual execution. For example, the west roundabout at the Dvira junction is actually west of its planned location. Is there a way to update the map according to the updated plan without waiting for GPS traces? |
13990085 | over 9 years ago | Can you please clarify why the 4 buildings were replaced by multipolygons? |
36988793 | over 9 years ago | Dear Peda, In this changeset you have removed the note on the "Jerusalem" name dispute It looks like you did not notice that the resolution of the dispute was already violated and the node does has the banned "name" tag. Please also consider restoring the note. |

37611689 | over 9 years ago | It looks like the new way 401628991 is part of the Red ITC trail relation, biut it does not have a colour=red tag. Should it have that tag, or should it be removed from the relation? |
37362922 | over 9 years ago | Is the red trail between A'aron and HaRofe streets an ITC (Israel Trails Committee) trail or was it created by some other organization? |
