Thanks for reversing the change.
Clearly there can be a difference between administrative boundaries and physical boundaries.
It looks like the checkpoint was created within the Jerusalem administrative boundaries, just like a customs checkpoint is located within the administrative boundaries of the controlling nation.
"MOIN" stands for Ministry Of INternal affairs. See
osm.wiki/WikiProject_Israel#MOIN_import

What is the source for these changes in the administrative boundaries of Jerusalem?
For example, the govmap.gov.il boundaries at
https://goo.gl/taHm8X
look like the boundary deleted in this edit, rather than the fixed boundaries.

I'm not asking about any tag changes. I'm asking about the change in the shape and the position of the boundary that was caused by adding osm.org/node/5512692697

I was not planning on reverting the entire changeset, just the Nature reserve's boundary, effectively re-importing it.
Am I right to understand that you have reverted the Nature reserve's boundary yourself?
BTW, AFAIK, תמ"א 39 is not a valid source for Nature Reserve boundaries.

As far as I understand the law, nature reserve boundaries can only be declared and changed by process that is finalized with an announcement by the Minister of Interior. They are no affected by national plans or subsequent approval of local plans.

There seem to be various populated places that overlap Nature reserve. The Mt. Meron Nature reserve being an extreme case.

I also think it is not our responsibility to resolve conflicts created by the authorities. For example, an overlap of 3 Nature Reserve declarations at

or a gap between a nature reserve and its extension at
https://israelhiking.osm.org.il/#!/14/30.0880/34.8989

waterway relations are used for long rivers as it reduces the number of data duplication and helps keep them synchronized.

It seems like there advertised Ashdod->Limassol route is also not available.
By the way, these GPS traces could also be from people sailing on yachts and passenger ships.

This seems to be a vehicles carrier service between England and the Mediterranean, not a ferry.
It sails from Ashdod to Limassol - unrelated to Haifa.
It does not sail in the reverse direction.

It seems that you are the only person that mapped the "شارع رئيسي" name in Israel.
I have never seen such a name in Israel, and it contradicts the Israeli street naming conventions.

What is the source of the "شارع رئيسي" ("Main Street") name for osm.org/way/497163516 and road 8050 osm.org/way/39785028?
Have you seen in on the street signs?
