weird rendering issue - nodes missing?
Käyttäjä NE2 kirjotti tämän 21. Septembera 2012 kielellä Englishosm.org/?way=135724062 This is not “redaction”-related. It’s as if the nodes were never added to the rendering database.

The nodes are in the DB somehow, otherwise your way= link wouldn’t be able to draw the blue line in the correct round shape. Also you see them in an editor. Example node of this way.
I could not find out why the default renderer misses some nodes of this way. Compare with other renderers (which may use older data).

The nodes are certainly in the OSM database. But they’re somehow not in the Mapnik database.

I’ve seen this behavior on occasion a few times on I-275 around Sharonville, Ohio, where one of the two carriageways incorrectly straightens out, crisscrossing the other. The problem tends to resolve itself after a few weeks. I’ve never seen it this bad or on motorway_links, though.

“Solved” now (the hard, not nice way): rickmastfan67 has deleted the old way and added a new way.
