124661563 | 6 months ago | I know about needing to split ways (I wrote a post-processing tool to put them back together `osm-lump-ways`) 😉 What do you think about the wiki's description of rapids, compared to your use? Which of you are correct? 🙂🙂 |
124661563 | 6 months ago | In this changeset, way 1084947854 is tagged as `waterway=rapids`. However is that right? The wiki says a a rapid should be drawn across the river, like weir¹. I noticed this item because it causes the McKenzie River to be split on WaterwayMap.org². The source of this WWM change is this commit c925507³ ¹ osm.wiki/Tag:waterway%3Drapids

77394190 | 9 months ago | Here you added a tiny tiny river, called “Tom's River” <osm.org/way/747887033/history/1>. Is that a real river? |
33990471 | 10 months ago | Here, you changed the `name` of a river segment (osm.org/way/358219216) from `Clare River` to `Annagh River`. However, I'm looking at the OS 1st. Ed. (& 2nd) for Lim. & Tipp., and in all 4 that segment is named “Clare River”. The river segments around that way are also still tagged `name=Clare River` in OSM. Is this _really_ called Annagh River? If I was mapping this myself, I would have used Clare River for it all. But I won't change it now. |
140192625 | 12 months ago | Hiya! You changed the tag of the tunnel from waterway=channel → =canal. That means it won't show up on lots of the WaterwayMap.org views as not flowing water. (because canal). Since it's a tunnel isn't there other things, like pressurised which are better tags? Thanks. 🙂 |
153972189 | about 1 year ago | @mueschel Thanks for spotting that! I've fixed that in osm.org/changeset/154012665 I had considered making a preset for “logainm based name” stuff, and this sort of simple typo is a reason to do that! |
153449420 | about 1 year ago | Oops! Every time! 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ Gods, I need to do a JOSM plugin to stop myself |
150146870 | over 1 year ago | Hiya! FYI I think you've created a loop in the streams. You can see loops here: <https://waterwaymap.org/loops#map=14.84/53.93014/-7.15049>. In this changeset, you added a few `waterway=stream` and that made a loop. I think it's the northern half of the loop in that link. I'm not sure what to do. Are you sure all the directions of the ways is correct? Maybe we can figure out if some/one is pointing the wrong way. Are these things `=stream`'s or `=ditch`'s 🤔 |
146798420 | over 1 year ago | Thanks for using my waterwaymap loop detection! You left a little double mapped stream, which caused another loop, and I've removed it here osm.org/changeset/147252471 It's great to see more people keeping an eye on these loops. 👍 |
145889690 | over 1 year ago | oh sorry! It happened again! sorry |
144024303 | almost 2 years ago | oops. Sorry for large changeset |
143298929 | almost 2 years ago | Sorry! Ah damn it! It happened again! That was my mistake. Sorry. last time: osm.org/changeset/143218439#map=4/40.25/16.65 Do you know if I can make JOSM stop me from doing that?
|
143218439 | almost 2 years ago | Damn it! Sorry. 😢 I must have forgotten to upload data between data QA fixes. |
142778230 | almost 2 years ago | No, the colours are randomly assigned. |
142778230 | almost 2 years ago | oops, sorry. Fixed |
141868196 | almost 2 years ago | Oops. Sorry. I think I forgot to upload one set of changes before doing the next step. Most of that time I'm good at doing that. |
138783187 | almost 2 years ago | You changed the name:en_GB too. How come? |
