Hi, and welcome to OSM! You asked for a review of this changeset, so here it is.

This looks good. it's good to get details on things, like contact details and so forth. I don't think the start_date is needed for companies

I have reverted this here osm.org/changeset/58376295

OK, I figured it was that. I was going to delete the ways, but I'll wait a while until you're finished.

Hello, I notice you've been adding a lot of untagged ways around Achill (e.g. osm.org/way/577308270 ), are these legitimate ways, or are they dud?

Viel Spaß in Achill

Hi, you asked for a review. Similar to before ( osm.org/changeset/58201510#map=19/53.39172/-6.17992 ), square buildings are nice. :)

You've added one long building here, tagged as "terrace", but looking on the aerial imagery, it looks more like several separate semi-d's, with side passages between then. It doens't look at "solid" as the terrace to the right. Are you sure this is one single building or should it be split?

You asked for a review, and this looks fine, except for my advice about S in the previous comment: osm.org/changeset/58201510

Hi there. You added the name "spar" to this building. But, erm there already is a node/point (in the bottom left) for spar, so you don't need to have it twice.

Hi. You asked for a review of this change.

This looks OK. One suggestion is to use the S button on iD (i.e. press S on your keyboard) when you have selected a building, and it will make the corners right angled. That's closer to how they are in the real world. It also takes the pressure off you, the mapper, because you don't have to be totally right and can be rough and the computer will clean it up.

You have this as "building=terrace" and I think "house" is more accurate. This building looks like a semi-d, right? So that's a house (technically 2 hourses), not a terrace row.

Hi there, You asked for a review of this, so here it is.

This looks good. Things like names are important and can only be added by people on the groud, so thanks for doing that

Hi you asked for someone to review this edit.

I think you might have gotten something wrong. In this change, you've changed the name of a townland to your company name ("Apt Signs"). That's not right at all! I've changed it back. Please don't do this again. Honest mistakes from new users are one thing. Vandalism or spam are something else.

The changeset comment should be used for a description of what you have done, not an advertising slogan. You can help other mappers by summarizing what you did.

We welcome people & businesses to add accurate, correct, neutral data to OSM, but not like this. Maybe you could add your shop as a point where it is?

Hi,

You added a way here ( osm.org/way/516622882/history ) but without any tags on it.

Hi there. You asked for a review.

You're right Eddit Rockets is a little more a restaurant than a fast food place. Table service is often a good way to separate them. (Man I miss them vanilla malts)

But you've lost out on the phone number! Might be nice to keep that around.

You don't need to delete a node and add a new one, you can just modify the tags on the previous object. In iD, there should be a thing at the bottom for all tags, and that can allow you to change the amenity from fast_food to restaurant.

Hi there. You asked for a review.

I'm a little confused, there already is a McCabe's pharmacy in OSM right beside this ( osm.org/node/1518906876 ). Isn't this the same? We don't need the point twice, unless there actually are 2 separate pharmacies. So you should only have one pharmacy.

I'm not 100% sure how to map a "stand inside a shop". Sometimes I just put a separate point beside it, and hope people will use their noggin and figure out where it is.

You asked for a review. This looks fine. If the shop isn't there anymore, then yes, deleting the node/point is exactly what you're supposed to do. 🙂

I'm afraid I don't think this is quite right. If something's not there permanently, then you shouldn't really add it on OSM. Otherwise someone could come along in 3 years time looking for it.

A good rule of thumb is to only add things that are going to be around for a month at least. And then delete it when it's gone. 🙂

OSM isn't really great at storing temporary things. There's a few proposals, but it's quite uncommon so people of people don't really bother...

Hi there. You asked for a review.

This looks fine. If you say it's there, then I trust you. The tagging is fine. This is certainly good enough.

Like many things in OSM, you can always add more and more information. Is it wheelchair accessible? ( osm.wiki/Key:wheelchair ). What's it's phone number? ( osm.wiki/Key:phone ) What are the opening times ( osm.wiki/Key:opening_hours ). etc etc.

There's always a whole thing of "indoor mapping" where you map the corridors. and shops inside things like shopping centres.

Hi there. You added a road here called "Woodford Rd". Just for the record, in OSM we usually don't use name appreviations, like "Rd". it's better to use "Road" instead. Otherwise there are could be expanded either way. Is "St" street or saint? etc. :)

Hi. You asked for a review of this change, so here it is.

This looks great. Lots of fine details that need local knowledge (like names).

Welcome to OSM, please keep adding things. :)

Hang on. Is the new building called "Liam Rodgers Centre"? If so then you did nothing wrong. Usually in OSM we just change the name/tag of a building rather than deleting & redrawing, which confused me (Don't worry, there's nothing wrong with deleteing & redrawing)
