142674164 | almost 2 years ago | Although these orphan nodes were deleted after the start of the vandal attack on OSM Israel, all of them were orphans at "2023-10-13T19:26:40Z" - before it started. |
143324213 | almost 2 years ago | Hello Alex,
This edit creates conflicts with a larger revert I'm preparing. I had to revert it in order to get this area closer to the way it was before the attacks. I hope you understand. Zeev |

143303841 | almost 2 years ago | Hello Przem3ek, In this edit, with the strange title "If anything, I was messing around p. 1", you have removed the the wikidata tag for the Ramalla residential area. If this was not deliberate, please change it back. Otherwise, please clarify why. |
143272009 | almost 2 years ago | Hello Przem3ek, In this edit you have changed the "name:ar" of the Jerusalem relation. If this was not deliberate, please change it back. Otherwise, please clarify what's the source of that name, and why it should it replace the previous name "القدس", which is also the name on the Arabic Wikipedia. |
143218439 | almost 2 years ago | @mmd,
Please let us know when the performance improvements are also available on the Overpass production server and accessible from OSMCha. |
143298929 | almost 2 years ago | Hi, I'm currently monitoring vandalism. Changesets covering a large area area, such as this changeset, tend to overlap unrelated areas. They are also hard to look into, as I wrote you earlier. |
143296368 | almost 2 years ago | Hello, Please note that it is not possible to view the contents of this changeset using OSMCha
This is probably because it covers a large area. Many other changes have been done in the area, and the tools are unable to process so much information. In the future, please split such edits into separate, smaller, and localized changesets. Thanks! |
143003041 | almost 2 years ago | Hello sefabaris, Please do not continue this! The OSM volunteer team has enough on their hands. These kind of acts do not increase the popularity of the Palestinians. You probably understand that such damage will not remain on the map, so what's the point? |
143218439 | almost 2 years ago | No worries! |
143218439 | almost 2 years ago | Hello, Please note that it is not possible to view the contents of this changeset using OSMCha
This is probably because it covers a large area and it was open for more than an hour. During this time, many other changes have been done in the area, and the tools are unable to process so much information. In the future, please split such edits into separate, smaller, and localized changesets. Thanks! |
143179851 | almost 2 years ago | Handling the manual edits of coastlines that were done during the mixture of vandalism and reverts is a topic that should be discussed when it's relevant and their improvements can be evaluated. |
143179851 | almost 2 years ago | This is probably on purpose since the ways that now include them should be reverted properly before these nodes could be deleted. |
143179851 | almost 2 years ago | As far as I can tell, this changeset fixed most of the nodes moved by mistake in changeset 143091238. You are probably aware that it did not handle nodes that were added earlier in changeset 143049662, such as nodes 11285524168, 11285555370, and 11285478706. It also did not handle nodes added in changeset 143091238, such as nodes 11287555585 to 11287555588 |
143052270 | almost 2 years ago | Revert of the accidental deletions was done in changeset 143123512. |
143091238 | almost 2 years ago | What should be done with this changeset? |
143091238 | almost 2 years ago | IMHO, reverts should be separated from edits so we could compare their outcome with the expected pre-vandalism state of the map. @SomeoneElse, Do you mean that this changeset is not a DWG revert!? |
143091238 | almost 2 years ago | Another example:
It has 12 nodes after this changeset (version 13). |
143091238 | almost 2 years ago | For example, osm.org/node/1033293880/history
It is in location 32.1611790, 34.7846907 after this changeset (version 12). I also do not understand why would there be new (version 1) nodes in a revert. |
